Things I built to figure something out. Sometimes for a project, sometimes because I wanted to know if it could be done.

Sketches and set designs, 3D models and prints, scale models, animatronics and mechanisms, light and projection tests. Some of it ended up in work elsewhere on this site, some of it stayed on the bench. These aren't projects and there's usually no client attached; this is the table where most of the design work actually happens.
